Full Time, Accounting/Financial/Insurance Vacancy In Derbyshire

Assistant Accountant – Permanent – Full-Time – up to £30,000

Astute Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing nationwide company seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role with excellent opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and maintain reconciliations, allocations, and balance sheet accounts

* Support Accounts Payable, including accruals for operational expenses

* Assist with transactional bookkeeping and daily accounting tasks

* Work across multiple sites using Sage Intacct and company billing systems

* Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting

* Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations

* Support growth initiatives, including integration of new acquisitions

Requirements:

* AAT Level 3 or 4 preferred

* Proven experience in full-function accounts

* Strong skills in reconciliations, allocations, and balance sheet management

* Confident with Accounts Payable processes and accruals

* High attention to detail and accuracy

* Experience with multi-site financial systems preferred

* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team

* Long-term commitment and willingness to grow with the business
