M&A Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

£50000 – £65000/annum

My client are a Top 10 tax, accountancy and business advisory firm founded on personal integrity and technical expertise.
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Assistant Manager to join a growing, award-winning corporate tax team within the M&A division.

The role will suit an ambitious assistant manager with experience advising on a wide range of matters, from complex tax compliance through to bespoke advisory projects.
Whilst the role will be predominantly advisory focused, you will have a portfolio of complex compliance clients to manage.

Requirements:

• ACA and/or CTA qualified
• 5–6 years post-qualification experience in M&A corporate tax
• Relevant practice experience in tax structuring, due diligence, and advisory

Responsibilities:

• Provision of tax advisory services to new and existing clients
• Providing tax structuring, due diligence, and corporate restructuring advice
• Carrying out detailed technical research
• Dealing with ad-hoc technical queries from the corporate tax team and other areas of the business
• Taking responsibility for the delivery of high-quality compliance and reporting services for a portfolio of clients
• Being the first point of contact for many clients
• Supervision, training, and mentoring of junior staff
• Ensuring all risk procedures are adhered to
