A Management Accountant is required for a market-leading independent manufacturer operating in the agribusiness sector, with a turnover more than £55million. The company is expanding and looking to strengthen its finance team with ambitious individuals who want to make an impact in a growing business. The Role

As the new Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in preparing monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis, and supporting commercial decision-making across the business. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who wants to make an impact in a dynamic SME environment.

What you’ll be doing:

* Producing accurate monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis

* Completing month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations

* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management

* Monitoring costs and overheads, providing analysis and recommendations

* Preparing VAT returns and supporting statutory accounts

* Liaising with auditors and external partners when required

* Contributing to strategic projects and process improvements

About You

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.

You will have:

* Part-qualified / newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or QBE

* Experience in a management accounting role (SME or manufacturing environment ideal)

* Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems (Sage, Xero or similar)

* Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
