US Tax Manager

£45000 – £70000/annum

Full Time, Accounting/Financial/Insurance Vacancy In London

We are seeking a US Tax Manager to join my clients US Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse US tax portfolio, mentor junior staff, and contribute to client advisory services across a growing top 40 accountancy group. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as designated signer for US federal and state returns.
• Review and sign individual US tax returns for a varied client portfolio.
• Provide US tax research and advice as needed.
• Complete various US compliance filings including FBARs, W-8BENS, SS-4s, etc.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Track tax return status and maintain internal reporting systems.
• Collaborate with team members
Candidate Requirements:

• 3–6 years post-qualification US tax experience.
• US Enrolled Agent, CPA, or JD (or near certification).
• Previous experience as designated signer for US returns.
• Strong technical knowledge of US tax return procedures.
• Familiarity with US Foreign Informational filings (Forms 8858, 5471, 8865) desirable.
• Generalist experience across UK & US tax or a US tax focus.
• Excellent communication, client management, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, proactive, professional, with strong IT skills (Excel) and attention to detail.

• Full-time, permanent role.
• Hybrid working: three days in-office, two days remote.
