Drainage and Jetting Engineer

£170 – £185/day

Ignite Recruitment are looking for a Drainage and Jetting Team to perform various drainage tasks, including clearing blockages, inspecting drains, and maintaining drainage systems. This often includes using high-pressure water jetting equipment and other specialized tools. The team may also be involved in emergency call-outs and regular maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

* Drain Unblocking: Clearing blockages in drainage systems using high-pressure water jetting and other methods.

* Drainage Inspections: Conducting CCTV surveys and other inspections to assess the condition of drainage systems.

* Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning gullies, inspecting pump stations, and servicing interceptors.

* Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining van-mounted jetting equipment

* Emergency Response: Responding to emergency call-outs .

* Surface Cleaning: Performing surface cleaning and remediation tasks as needed.

* Customer Interaction: Visiting customers' properties to assess and resolve drainage issues.

* Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures when using high-powered equipment and working in confined spaces.

* Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience in drain jetting, CCTV surveys, and other drainage-related tasks.

* Ability to operate and maintain drainage equipment.

* Ability to diagnose and resolve drainage issues.

* Ability to work in various environments and conditions.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

* Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
